"If I am, I was stolen"
This is the kind of street art that but I like the facilities, because I think these go beyond the single paste stickers or paint with stencil, as these seek involvement with the public and in a way you could say that they are part of what today is known in advertising as: "Guerrillas."
This time is the turn of artist Paul Insect, who recently made a series of gold bars facilities around the city of London, this as a way of promoting their upcoming exhibition at Lazarides Gallery to be held on July 20, call: Bullion.
Each gold bar is signed by the artist and have recorded the following message: "If I am, I was stolen," apparently this message is for the recent "scandals" that have occurred in the urban art scene, most of all by the most recent Splasher.
In my opinion this is a great urban art form, creative enough though in some cases can become somewhat expensive, as in this case, although the bars were not really gold nor I imagine is nothing cheap send to do.
